
19th Global Communication Conclave to spotlight ‘Power of PR’ in Goa
Panaji, September 3, 2025: The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) – Goa Chapter today hosted the Curtain Raiser Press Meet and Logo Launch of the much-awaited 19th Global Communication Conclave at Terminal Banquets, Caculo Mall, Panaji.
The event marked an important milestone with the unveiling of the official logo and the theme of the conclave, “Power of PR: Emerging Waves of Communication.” The theme captures how public relations and communication continue to shape conversations and build connections in a fast-changing digital world.
The ceremony was graced by eminent leaders from the PR and communication fraternity, including PRCI Chairman Emeritus and Chief Mentor M B Jayaram, National President Geetha Shankar, PRCI YCC President Chinnmayee Praveen, Secretary and Director GC Dr. T Vinayakumar, Vice Chairman of PRCI Waman Prabhu, Chairman of PRCI Goa Chapter Deepak Narvekar, and Secretary of PRCI Goa Chapter Nikhil Wagh.
Speaking on the occasion, PRCI Chairman Emeritus and Chief Mentor M B Jayaram highlighted the importance of the conclave as a global platform to discuss emerging trends in communication and the expanding role of PR professionals. He noted that communication today is not limited to traditional methods but is constantly being reshaped by technology, digital platforms, and changing audience expectations. The Conclave, he said, will serve as a meeting ground for industry leaders, young professionals, and academicians to exchange ideas, share best practices, and chart the way forward for the profession.
PRCI National President Geetha Shankar emphasized the need for embracing innovation, digital tools, and ethics to navigate the future of communication. She pointed out that while technology is rapidly transforming the way information is shared and consumed, it is equally important for professionals to uphold credibility, responsibility, and ethical practices in communication. She added that the Conclave would provide valuable insights into how the industry can balance speed and innovation with authenticity and trust.
Chairman of PRCI Goa Chapter, Deepak Narvekar, said, “I truly believe that this Conclave will create an important platform for meaningful dialogue, learning, and collaboration. This Global Communication Conclave will be a great platform for exchange of ideas and recognition of excellence.”
