Inception 2025 Concludes with a Vibrant Celebration of Culture, Music at Goa Institute of Management

~ GIM’s flagship cultural event ‘Inception 2025’ recently concluded after events that highlighted the student participants’ dance, music and sartorial skills.

~ Lucknow-based band The Lost Fireflies and Bangalore-based band Pineapple Express left audiences enthralled with dynamic performances.

Panaji, February 2025: The 2025 edition of Sanquelim-based Goa Institute of Management’s annual marquee performing arts event, Inception, recently concluded after a vibrant two-day celebration of culture, cuisine and music.

On the first day of the event, the audience witnessed participants putting on high-octane performances in the group dance competition, ‘Feet on Fire’, and others command the stage either performing solo or in a duo, in the ‘Just Du-et’ dance competition.

This was followed by an engaging stand-up comedy act by an alumnus of GIM and a soulful musical performance by the Lucknow-based band, The Lost Fireflies, concluding with a creative adaptation of the Indian epic, the Mahabharata, by the drama club of GIM, Aarambh.

The second day of Inception 2025 commenced with the highly anticipated music competition, ‘Melody and Muse’, with participants showcasing their vocal and instrumental adeptness. The institution’s flagship fashion show ‘Melange’, exhibited the sartorial sensibilities of participating students. The event concluded with a dynamic performance by Bangalore-based progressive fusion band, Pineapple Express.

“This year’s edition of Goa Institute of Management’s performing arts event Inception, organised by the institute’s performing arts society, gave student participants opportunities to showcase their creative side, create bonds and experience stellar musical performances,” said Prof Ajit Parulekar, Director, Goa Institute of Management.

Inception 2025, the B-school’s flagship event, offered a platform for students, art enthusiasts and performers to showcase their talents, nurturing creative expression.
