
Department of Tourism, Government of Goa unfolds a new travel story at TTF Ahmedabad
Goa, July 31, 2025: The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, marked its participation on Day 1 of the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Ahmedabad 2025, being held from 31st July to 2nd August at the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar. As one of India’s leading travel trade platforms, TTF Ahmedabad offers a significant opportunity for Goa Tourism to engage with key domestic markets which remains a vital source of quality tourists.
The Goa pavilion highlights a wide spectrum of experiences that go beyond traditional offerings, positioning Goa as a diverse, responsible, and immersive tourism destination. The Goa Tourism delegation is led by Shri Pravinkumar Faldessai, Senior Manager, GTDC (Goa Tourism Development Corporation), Smt. Concy Pereira, Asst Tourism Officer and Smt. Isabelinda Vaz, Information Assistant.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Kedar Naik, Director of Tourism, Government of Goa, stated,
“Platforms like TTF Ahmedabad enable us to highlight Goa’s evolving tourism identity to a wider audience. Our participation focuses on promoting the state as a year-round destination offering rich cultural heritage, wellness, spirituality, adventure, and immersive rural experiences. We are committed to attracting quality tourism through responsible and inclusive initiatives.”
At the pavilion, visitors can explore key themes promoted by the Department, including spiritual tourism, wellness and Ayurveda, hinterland and monsoon experiences, adventure tourism, as well as emerging segments such as homestays and community-based tourism. The display also features Goa’s vibrant cultural calendar, highlighting festivals like Sao Joao, Chikhal Kalo, Shigmo, Spirit of Goa, and Carnaval, which are now attracting a growing number of experiential travellers.
The Department’s participation at TTF Ahmedabad 2025 is part of its larger outreach strategy to strengthen partnerships with tour operators, media, and travel agents while promoting Goa as a destination that is not only iconic but also inclusive, sustainable, and future-ready.
