
Young Athletes Shine at WAKO National Kickboxing Championship 2025 – Chennai, Tamil Nadu
ACS Goa proudly represented Goa at the WAKO National Kickboxing Championship 2025, where over 1500 athletes from across India competed. With just 15 days of preparation, our young kickboxers displayed passion, discipline, and fighting spirit at the national stage.
Erica J. de Sequeira (Older Cadets – -50kg) made history by winning a bronze medal in Kick Light (Full Contact Sparring) – the first-ever national kickboxing medal for ACS Goa. She also gave strong performances in Point Fight and Musical Forms.
Giovanna L. de Sequeira (Younger Cadets – 32kg) fought bravely in Point Fight Sparring, competing in a tough pool of 23 athletes, gaining invaluable national-level experience.
Veda Chandan Priolker (Children – 30kg) showed great potential in Point Fight Sparring, demonstrating strong basics, adaptability, and the heart of a fighter.
Led by Coach Raunak Singh, Goa’s official representative at the championship, this success marks a new milestone for kickboxing in Goa, inspiring the next generation of martial artists.
