STATE LEVEL CRIB COMPETITION 2025-26
Panaji: December 01, 2025:The Directorate of Art and Culture holds a State Level Crib Competition from December 26, 2025 to January 02, 2026 for individual/ household and institution/group categories as follows.
Individual/Household Category: This category features cribs made by individuals or families at their homes. First prize is Rs. 25,000/-, second prize Rs. 20,000/-, third prize is Rs. 15,000/-, fourth prize is Rs. 12,000/-, fifth prize is 10,000/- and there are five consolation prizes of Rs.7,000/- each.
The second category is Institution/Group Category: This category includes entries from institutions, clubs, parishes, or groups of people who collaborate to create cribs. The first prize is Rs. 40,000/-, second prize is Rs. 35,000/-, third prize is Rs. 30,000/-, fourth prize is Rs. 25,000/-, fifth prize is Rs. 20,000/- and there are five consolation prizes of Rs. 15,000/- each.
In absence of a significant number of participants, the Directorate reserves the right to hold or to cancel the competition.
Interested household individuals and institutions/groups are requested to fill the application forms for participating in the competition from the office of the Directorate of Art and Culture, Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto, Panaji (Contact 0832-2404640/2404636).
Also, application forms will be available at various sub offices of the Directorate namely Ravindra Bhavan-Canacona, Curchorem, Margao, Sankhali, Vasco and Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda. The form is also available on the website of the Directorate of Art and Culture- www.artandculture.goa.gov.in. Late entries will not be entertained.
The application form will be available from December 04, 2025 and must be submitted on or before December 18, 2025. The application can be submitted to any of the above mentioned offices. The rules and regulations of the competition will be mentioned in the application form for information.
