Late Shri Vasudev Sane Smruti Chashak Double Wicket Cricket Tournament Concludes Successfully
The three-day Late Shri Vasudev Sane Smruti Chashak Double Wicket Hard Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament, held from 5th to 7th June 2026 at Path Ground, Savoi-Verem, Goa, concluded on a high note amidst great enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and community participation.
In an exciting final, Shri Swami Samarth (Rajat Kudalkar & Shubham Jha) emerged as the Champions, lifting the coveted trophy and winning a cash prize of ₹1,00,000. Ganapati Warriors (Sahil Gaonkar & Tanvesh Khedekar) secured the Runners-up position and received ₹50,000.
The tournament’s semifinalists were Raunak Cricketers (Sandesh Thakur & Apali Kalangutkar) and Shehzad Royals (Nandesh Gowda & Sonu Sharma), who were awarded ₹20,000 each for their commendable performances.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by distinguished guests Adv. Iftikhar Aga, Shri Shivram Parsekar, Shri Narsinh Sane, Shri Shripad Sane, Shri Anant Sane, Shri Laxmidas Sane, Dr Jayashree Madkaikar and Mrs.Vipula Prabhu who felicitated the winners and participants with trophies, medals, and cash prizes.
