Goa’s rising martial arts star Erica De Sequeira, who represented Goa, delivered a remarkable performance at the South Zone Ju-Jitsu Championship 2026 in Hyderabad, sweeping four Gold Medals across four events. Erica showcased her versatility, determination and competitive experience by securing Gold in

Her outstanding performance has earned Erica selection for the National Championship, putting her on the pathway towards higher-level national and international competition, including the Asian Games pathway.

At just 16, Erica has continued to establish herself as one of Goa’s promising and top young combat-sports athletes. Her ability to compete successfully across multiple disciplines reflects years of dedicated training and competition at state, national and international levels.

Erica trains under Coach Ronny (Raunak Singh) at the Academy of Combat Sports (ACS-GOA). Her latest achievement adds another significant milestone to her growing sporting journey and brings further recognition to Goa on the national Ju-Jitsu stage.
