Medha Pushkarna Unveils a New Legal Mystery in The Great Trial

Mumbai/New Delhi (Anil Bedag): From practising law at the Supreme Court to earning an MPhil in Criminology from the University of Cambridge, and now taking on the responsibility of teaching law students, Medha Pushkarna continues to add new dimensions to her professional journey. She returns with the third book in her acclaimed courtroom series, The Great Trial, titled It Is Not Over Yet… Animal World Versus Mankind.

Published by Law and Justice Publishing Company, the book offers an intriguing blend of mystery, mythological imagination and legal manoeuvres. The story takes an unexpected turn after peace is established between the animal and human worlds, when Mr. Elephant, a wise member of the council, is found dead in the sacred forest. As the investigation unfolds, suspicion turns towards Uncle Just, the mentor of young lawyer Meds. What follows is a gripping quest for truth, evidence and accountability.

Launched in 2023 with War on Earth, the series has carved out a distinctive identity by connecting the law with questions of morality and humanity. The third instalment also features more than 170 entries related to legal principles and legal maxims, making it an engaging read for those interested in the legal profession as well as courtroom mysteries.

Medha’s achievements extend beyond writing. Alongside her work involving constitutional matters and criminal appeals, she serves as a visiting faculty member at Galgotias University School of Law. There, she guides students through the practical aspects of courtroom proceedings and chamber practice, helping them understand the realities of the legal profession.

Balancing advocacy, teaching and writing, Medha presents readers with a fresh legal puzzle through her latest book. Available on Amazon, Kindle and Flipkart, the book leaves readers with a compelling question: Is the story of justice really over yet?
