Clarification on Zariwada-podocem streetlights demand
MLA Dr. Deviya Rane: It has come to my notice that concerns are being raised regarding the demand for streetlights at Zariwada, Podocem. I would like to clarify that this issue was recently brought to me in person only a few days ago. Immediately after our interaction, I took up the matter with the officials of the Electricity Department. Following my intervention, I am pleased to inform that the technical sanction for the work has already been issued. The estimate of ₹3,32,831/- has been sanctioned and the department will be executing the work shortly. Hence, claims suggesting that no action has been taken are misleading. The process was already underway, and my priority has always been to ensure that genuine public demands, such as this one, are addressed promptly and effectively.
