Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant attended and addresses the Valedictory of the State-Level Conference on DGsP/IGsP Conference 2025, in the presence of Chief Secretary, DGP, and senior officials, organised by Goa Police, Panaji.
HCM informed that the Conference was held as a follow-up to the All India DGsP/IGsP Conference 2025 – Viksit Bharat: Security Dimensions chaired by Hon’ble Prime Minister at Raipur, with a clear objective to translate national-level strategic directions into time-bound, actionable outcomes for Goa.
HCM said that the deliberations focused on inter-departmental coordination, effective implementation of new criminal laws, and a whole-of-government approach to public safety.
Key highlights:
▪️ Commendation Certificate awarded to Bicholim Police Station for being ranked 5th Best Police Station in India and Best in Goa
▪️ Launch of PRISM – Proactive Risk Identification & Surveillance Mechanism and Intelligence Fusion Centre
▪️ Launch of e-Zero FIR Module for Cyber Financial Fraud cases to enable faster reporting and recovery.
HCM reaffirmed Goa’s commitment to professional, technology-driven, citizen-centric policing, while addressing emerging challenges such as cybercrime, narcotics, road safety, coastal security, and tourism safety.
He further mentioned that with coordinated action, strong prosecution, community engagement, and digital transformation, Goa continues to align with the national vision of Viksit Goa, Viksit Bharat.
