“The Thang-Ta Sports Association of Goa, under the aegis of the Thang-Ta Federation of India, successfully organized the XXXI National Sub-Junior & Senior Thang-Ta Championship 2025-26 at the Manohar Parrikar Stadium, Madgaon, Goa, from October 28th to 30th, 2025.
Two talented athletes from Martial Arts Sports and Fitness Club Goa, made the state proud with their outstanding performances. Gauresh mandrekar , a resident of Bordem bicholim, won the bronze Medal in the seniors category in the Phunaba Anishuba event, under the +80 kg weight category.
vanita sada naik , a resident of maulingvem bicholim secured the silver Medal in the Seniors category in the Phunaba Ama event, under the -44kg weight category.
Their achievements are a testament to the dedicated coaching and support provided by Chief Instructor Shri Vishant Vithoba Solyekar and Shri Vivekanand Tambi.
