Goa to Host Startup Handholding Programme for National Startup Day 2026

Panjim, January 2026: Marking National Startup Day, the Startup & IT Promotion Cell (SITPC), under the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (DITE&C) will be hosting a Handholding Support Programme for Startups on January 19, 2026 at Goa Marriott Resort, Miramar.

The programme is designed to provide structured guidance and end-to-end support to startups in understanding and availing benefits under various Government of India and Government of Goa startup schemes.

Through a combination of panel discussions, scheme presentations and an interactive workshop, the programme will offer startups practical insights into best practices, compliance requirements and funding readiness.

Speaking about the initiative, Shri DS Prashant, CEO, SITPC, highlighted how the event will serve as a platform for startups to connect with incubators, industry associations and ecosystem enablers.

“Startups registering for the National Startup Day event will receive step-by-step guidance, scheme awareness and follow-up assistance to help them successfully avail government schemes. The programme will not just provide a valuable opportunity for networking but also to witness and celebrate the growth of Goa’s startup ecosystem,” Shri DS Prashant shared.
