GOVT. DECLARES DEC 20 AS PAID HOLIDAY’ DUE TO ZP POLLS
Panaii: December 15, 2025 The Government has declared December 20, 2025 as a Paid Holiday being the Polling Day for Elections to Zilla Panchayats of North and South Goa Districts throughout the State.
The holiday shall be a paid holiday to every person employed in the following establishment and entitled to vote at the Zilla Panchayat General Election: Industrial workers of the State; daily wage workers of the Government Departments and State Government Industrial Departments; Commercial and industrial workers of private establishments in the State; all private establishments and daily wage/casual workers employed in any business, trade, industrial undertakings or any other establishments.
