LIBERATION DAY CELEBRATION ON DEC 19
Panaji: December 12, 2025 The State level celebration of the 64th Anniversary of the Liberation of the State will be held on December 19, 2025. The Flag hoisting ceremony will be held at Goa University Ground, Taleigao, Goa at 09:15 am. The Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant will unfurl the National Flag with the Police Band playing the National Anthem and the Police Guard of honour giving the National Salute.
The Flag hoisting ceremony will also be held at various Taluka headquarters at 9.15 am. Shri Digambar Kamat, Minister for PWD will hoist the flag at Margao, Shri Sudhin Dhavalikar, Minister for Power will hoist the flag at Ponda, Shri Rohan Khaunte, Minister for tourism will hoist the flag at Mapusa, Shri Mauvin Godinho, Minister for Transport will hoist the flag at Chicalim, Shri Ramesh Tawadkar, Minister for Art and Culture will hoist the flag at Canacona, Shri Nilkanth Halarnkar, Minister for Fisheries will hoist the flag at Pernem, Shri Subhash Phal Dessai Minister for Social Welfare will hoist the flag at Sanguem, Shri Subhash Shirodkar, Minister for Water Resources will hoist the flag at Quepem and Shri Premendra Shet, MLA, Mayem will hoist the flag at Bicholim. At Dharbandora and Valpoi Dy Collectors will hoist the flag.
