Project Associate post at GU
Panaji: December 02, 2025: Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate-I at Biotechnology Discipline, School of Biological Sciences & Biotechnology (SBSB), Goa University to work on the research project (PM-ECRG) entitled “Investigating the role of parental-specific chromatin organization in regulation of genomic imprinting” funded by Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India.
Essential qualifications is M.Sc./M.Tech in Bioinformatics / Computational Biology with minimum 60% marks.
Desirable qualifications is working experience on Linux, knowledge of Perl, Python, and experience in epigenetic and other NGS data analysis. Prior experience in handling large-scale plant NGS data will be an asset.
The fellowship amount is Rs. 37,000/- + HRA (qualified the National Eligibility Test, such as CSIR-UGC NET or GATE in Bioinformatics / Life Sciences or any equivalent National level examination or Rs. 30,000/- + HRA (for candidates who do not have NET/GATE) as per ANRF guidelines and the duration of Project is three years.
