
CM EXTEND GREETINGS FOR ST. FRANCIS XAVIER FEAST
Panaji: December 2, 2025: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Goa on the auspicious occasion of the feast of Saint Francis Xavier, which is celebrated in the State with great devotion.
CM in his message said “The Feast of St. Francis Xavier holds a special place in the hearts of Goans and devotees across the world. I wish all the devotees from Goa, outside Goa and the world over a very happy feast”. He praised the spirit of unity and harmony that the occasion brings, as thousands of devotees come together in faith and devotion.
The Chief Minister said, that the novenas prior to the feast prepare devotees for this religious occasion. “The feast of St Francis Xavier brings thousands to Goa; many of them are Goans in the Diasporas who come especially for the feast. It’s a time of family and togetherness. My wishes especially go out to those who come on a pilgrimage to Old Goa by foot to seek blessings of St Francis Xavier. I wish that this holy occasion brings renewed hope and joy to every household,” he concluded.
