The Aguad Port and Jail Complex, an iconic space in North Goa, will make its presence felt at the OTM 2026, held in the commercial capital of India, Mumbai from February 5-7, 2026.
Panaji, February 2026: One of Goa’s most iconic spaces, Aguad Port and Jail Complex is set to maark in Mumbai. Participating in the upcoming Outbound Travel Mart (OTM), 2026 to be held from February 5-7 at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre, Aguad will be representing Goa’s rich cultural history at one of the largest travel trade exhibitions in Asia.
Touted to be one of the leading international travel trade shows focusing on the travel, tourism, hospitality and MICE industries, the OTM connects travel brands, destinations, tour operators, buyers and industry professionals from around the world. With around 2200 exhibitors from over 60 countries, the exhibition is set to host more than 50,000 visitors over the three days.
Aguad aims to present its space and the wide range of experiences it offers to a diverse audience. From immersive heritage walks that allow visitors to understand the site’s role as a strategic defence structure and a prison that once housed freedom fighters, Aguad brings history and contemporary engagement together. Experiences like the heritage cruise, and boat transfers will also be highlighted, positioned as a complete experience in itself, with panoramic views of Goa’s shoreline and the Aguad Port & Jail Complex, as it glides through Aguada Bay and the Arabian Sea.
“More than a historic landmark, Aguad Port and Jail Complex is a space where Goa’s layered history meets curated visitor experiences. OTM provides an excellent platform for us to present Aguad Port and Jail Complex as a key destination in Goa. We aim to highlight Aguad as a compelling venue for cultural tourism, events, and immersive programming for a global travel trade audience, and look forward to engaging with industry professionals to explore collaborations that promote responsible tourism while enhancing visitor experience at one of Goa’s most iconic heritage sites,” says Savio Mathias, VP, Operations and Business Development, Aguad Port & Jail Complex.
