Applications Open for Free Laptops for Meritorious SC/ST Students for the Academic Year 2023-2024
Panjim, September 30, 2024: The Department of Information Technology, Electronics, and
Communications, Government of Goa, announces the opening of applications for the Free Laptop
Scheme, benefiting meritorious students from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Scheduled Caste (SC)
communities for the Academic Year 2023-2024.
The Department of ITE&C, Government of Goa has launched this scheme with the objective of
promoting Information Technology (IT) and digital skills among students from SC/ST communities, while
encouraging them to pursue higher education in the IT field. By providing access to essential digital
tools, the initiative empowers SC/ST students with the skills needed to thrive in a technology-driven
world.
Eligible students are encouraged to apply through the official online portal, which will be accessible from
30th September 2024 with the deadline for submissions on 30th October 2024. For further details and
