Daivadnya Samaj Madgaon, on the occasion of Teachers Day, felicitated and honoured the teachers and support staff of Jyot School for children with Autism, Davorlim, Madgaon on 5th September 2026.
Dignitaries present were Shri Ramakant Raikar, President Daivadnya Samaj, Madgaon, Shri Atul Verlekar, Vice President Daivadnya Samaj, Shri Upendra Madkaikar, Education cell Chairman of Daivadnya Samaj and Chairman of Jyot School, Shri Rohit Vernekar, Secretary Daivadnya samaj, Shri Dulba Sawant, Chairman of Jyot Society and Smt. Varsha Desai, HeadMistress of Jyot School.
Shri Ramakant Raikar, President Daivadnya Samaj welcomed the guests and expressed gratitude to these inspiring educators for their tireless efforts and the hope they bring into the lives of these special children and their families.
Shri Upendra Madkaikar, Chairman of Jyot School thanked his staff and said that working with these special children requires much more than teaching. He also quoted that every child learns differently and his staff has the wonderful ability to understand those differences and turn them into opportunity and growth.
All the teachers and support staff were felicitated and honoured with the token of appreciation.
Vrundawan Raikar compered the function. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Rohit Vernekar, Secretary, Daivadnya Samaj, Madgaon. He thanked the dignitaries, staff of Jyot School and also the Education Cell members of Daivadnya Samaj, Madgaon.
