Erica Shines on Home Soil with K1 Gold and Prestigious State Recognition
Erica De Sequeira brought pride and glory to her academy, Academy of Combat Sports Goa, by winning the Gold Medal and becoming the Champion in the K1 Fight -50 kg weight category** at the prestigious WAKO Goa State Championship 2026 held at the Ravi Naik Sports Complex. The championship was organised by the WAKO Kickboxing Association Goa.
Her outstanding achievement stands as a proud moment for both her academy and Goa’s kickboxing community, reflecting her dedication, discipline, and fighting spirit throughout the championship.
In addition to her state championship victory, Erica was also specially appreciated by the WAKO Kickboxing Association Goa for her remarkable achievement at the Khelo India National Championship, where she secured a Gold Medal and delivered one of the best performances of the tournament.
Erica trains under the guidance of Coach Ronnyy, whose dedication, professional coaching, and continuous support have played a vital role in her success and growth as a competitive athlete.
