GMC Upscales More Seats for MBBS and PG Courses
Goa Medical College is pleased to announce a major milestone in its journey of providing quality medical education and healthcare services. For the academic year 2024-2025, we have received the Letter of Permission from the National Medical Commission, approving an increase in our MBBS seats to 200. This expansion marks a significant step towards enhancing the capacity of our institution and allowing more students to pursue their aspirations of becoming skilled medical professionals.
Additionally, we are excited to announce the approval of seat increases in several of our postgraduate MD/MS courses. The newly sanctioned seat increases are as follows:
– MD Radiodiagnosis: From 06 to 07 seats (increase of 1 seat)
– MS General Surgery: From 06 to 15 seats (increase of 9 seats)
– MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology: From 06 to 08 seats (increase of 2 seats)
– MD Pharmacology: From 04 to 06 seats (increase of 2 seats)
– MD Pediatrics: From 07 to 10 seats (increase of 3 seats)
These increases in seat capacity reflect our ongoing commitment to fostering medical excellence and addressing the growing healthcare needs in the region and beyond. Goa Medical College remains dedicated to nurturing the next generation of medical professionals while providing cutting-edge medical education.
