Goa Strengthens Air Connectivity Ahead of Winter Season

New & expanded international services from UAE, UK, Kazakhstan, Poland; Domestic connectivity increases by 84 flights per week across Mopa-Dabolim

Panaji, October 6, 2026: Goa is set to witness a significant strengthening of air connectivity for the 2026-27 winter tourism season, with new and expanded international services connecting the state with key overseas markets including the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Kazakhstan and Poland, alongside an increase of 84 domestic flights per week across Goa’s two airports.

At Manohar International Airport (Mopa), the winter schedule includes Air India Express’ Abu Dhabi-Goa service three times a week, TUI charter services connecting Goa with Gatwick and Manchester three times a week starting November 2026, FlyArystan services from Kazakhstan twice a week, and Enter Air charter services from Warsaw and Katowice. Air Arabia will also provide winter connectivity from Sharjah. At Dabolim Airport, Air India Express will operate Dubai-Goa daily, while international charter connectivity includes Aeroflot services from Moscow and Yekaterinburg, with six flights a week, and SCAT Airlines services from Kazakhstan twice a week. The expanded international network strengthens Goa’s access across the Gulf, United Kingdom, Europe, Russia and Central Asia, combining scheduled services with a growing charter network for the peak winter tourism season.

Hon’ble Tourism Minister, Shri. Rohan A. Khaunte said, “The expansion of air connectivity is a strong vote of confidence in Goa as a global tourism destination. Our strategy has been to strengthen established source markets while simultaneously opening Goa to new and high-potential markets. Connectivity from the UAE, UK, Kazakhstan, Poland and Russia gives international travellers greater choice and more convenient access to Goa. Equally important is the strengthening of domestic connectivity across both Mopa and Dabolim. With 84 additional domestic flights every week, we are creating greater accessibility to Goa while supporting tourism, hospitality and the wider local economy.”

Goa’s domestic network is also being strengthened substantially for the winter season. At Mopa, domestic flight frequency is set to increase by 28 flights per week. Air India Express is introducing a Bengaluru-Mopa service seven times a week, while IndiGo will operate Chandigarh-Mopa daily from October 25, 2026, with the seasonal winter service scheduled through March 27, 2027. Star Air is also reviving its Nanded-Mopa and Shivamogga-Mopa winter services, while FLY91 is reviving its Navi Mumbai-Mopa connection as part of its expansion to Navi Mumbai.

At Dabolim, domestic frequencies are increasing by a further 56 flights per week. Air India Express is increasing capacity on the Mumbai-Dabolim and Bengaluru-Dabolim sectors, while Air India is strengthening capacity on its Mumbai-Dabolim and Delhi-Dabolim routes. IndiGo is also increasing flights connecting Dabolim with multiple cities, including Chennai, Rajkot, Navi Mumbai and Chandigarh.

Together, the two airports will therefore see an increase of 84 domestic flights per week for the winter season — 28 at Mopa and 56 at Dabolim.

Air India Express has separately announced its largest-ever Winter Schedule 2026, comprising around 585 daily flights, including up to 150 international departures, across a network of 65 stations and 220 routes. For Goa, this includes the Abu Dhabi–Mopa service three times weekly and daily Dubai–Dabolim connectivity, alongside strengthened domestic connectivity.

Director of Tourism, Shri. Kedar Naik said, “The winter season is shaping up positively for Goa, with stronger connectivity across both international and domestic markets. The diversity of the international network is particularly encouraging, with access from the UK, Gulf, Europe, Russia and Central Asia. At the same time, the addition of 84 domestic flights per week across Mopa and Dabolim makes Goa more accessible from cities across India. Strong connectivity is critical to supporting a year-round and diversified tourism economy.”

The enhanced schedule complements Goa’s expanding international charter and scheduled-flight network while reinforcing the complementary role of the state’s two airports. Mopa will see 28 additional domestic flights per week, while Dabolim will see 56, alongside international services operating through both gateways. The increased connectivity is expected to benefit the wider tourism value chain, including hotels, homestays, tour operators, destination management companies, transport providers, restaurants and other local businesses.

With 84 additional domestic flights every week and strengthened international access across multiple source markets, Goa enters the 2026–27 winter season with greater connectivity, wider market reach and improved accessibility through both Mopa and Dabolim.
