Goa Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte said that the government’s vision is to promote the state “beyond the beaches” and provide a more immersive experience for tourists by creating new infrastructure.
“We can showcase hinterland, culture, tradition and cuisine. We are called the food capital of the country. We can look at village experiences, backwaters…The tourist today wants to explore wellness and spirituality sectors,”
