On 7th September 2026, the Pernem Free Legal Aid Cell, in collaboration with the ADEI Office, Pernem, organised ‘ECO-LEX 2026’ on the theme “Environment, Law & Sustainable Development.”
The event featured Debate and Poster-Making Competitions, with participation from 15 schools across Pernem Taluka. Parse High School won the Poster-Making Competition, while Our Lady of Rosary High School emerged victorious in the Debate Competition.
The programme was graced by Ms. Alisha Vincent Da Cunha, Assistant District Educational Inspector (Admin), as the Chief Guest; Mr. Joseph Lobo, Social Activist, as the Resource Person; Asst. Prof. Dr. Viren Amonkar and Asst. Prof. Varsha Redkar as judges for the Debate Competition; and Mr. Sanjay Harmalkar, Goan Senior Artist, as the judge for the Poster-Making Competition.
