Qazaq Kures Seminar Held in Sakhalim, Goa
Martial Arts Sports and Fitness Club Goa , in collaboration with the Qazaq Kures Association of Goa , successfully organized a Qazaq Kures seminar on 13 april 2026 at the “1st Floor, MD HP Gas Agency, Karapur, Sakhalim. The seminar was conducted from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM and was attended by students of all age groups.
The session was conducted by International Referee and Secretary of the Qazaq Kures Association of Goa, R.V. Shintre. He provided valuable guidance on the techniques, rules, and importance of Qazaq Kures as a sport and a form of self-defense.
Speaking on the occasion, Vishant Solyekar, President of Martial Arts Sports and Fitness Club Goa, said that the organization aims to promote martial arts across Goa. He emphasized that the club will continue to support and encourage students to take up Qazaq Kures for fitness, self-defense, and competitive sports.
R.V. Shintre also stated that Goa will soon participate regularly in upcoming Qazaq Kures National Championships. He further informed that plans are underway to start Qazaq Kures practice centers in different parts of Goa. Training programs will also be introduced for school students, women, and youth to promote self-defense and sports awareness.
The seminar marked a significant step towards the promotion and development of Qazaq Kures in Goa. Very soon Goa will organise the State Qazaq kures championship.
