
Goa Student Shines at WSRO National Championship 2025 in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad, Gujarat – Goa’s young innovator, Vedang Anay Kamat, a student of Class 5A at Saraswat Vidyalaya, Mapusa, brought pride to the state by winning multiple awards at the World STEM & Robotics Olympiad (WSRO) National Championship 2025, held at Vidyan Bhavan, Science City, Ahmedabad.
Vedang participated in four competitions at the national event and secured awards in all of them, showcasing his all-around talent in robotics and STEM:
- Industry 4.0 Challenge (Robo Mission Category) – 1st Prize with Cash Award
- Lego Line Follower – 2nd Runner-up with Cash Award
- Junior Drone Challenge – 2nd Runner-up with Cash Award
- Junior Robo Race – Jury’s Choice Award
With this remarkable performance, Vedang has now qualified to represent India at the WSRO International Championship, where he will participate in the Industry 4.0 Challenge (Dubai) and the Lego Line Follower (Italy).
Speaking on his achievement, Vedang expressed his excitement about the upcoming international events and his passion for learning through robotics and innovation. His consistent dedication, creativity, and problem-solving skills have made him a role model for young learners in Goa.
