Indian Athlete Erica De Sequeira Shines at 12th Mombasa Open
Mombasa, Kenya: Indian martial artist Erica De Sequeira, representing the Tong-Il Moo-Do Association Goa and the Tong-Il Moo-Do National Federation of India, delivered a remarkable performance at the 12th Mombasa Open Tong-Il Moo-Do International Martial Arts Championship 2025, winning three gold medals in Sparri Special Techniques, and Individual Bon.
Coached by Raunak Singh, International Coach and official representative of Tong-Il Moo-Do India, Erica achieved a historic feat by becoming a four-time consecutive champion at the Mombasa Open. Owing to her consistent excellence and growth, the Kenya Government and the Kenya Tong-Il Moo-Do Federation fully sponsored her participation, a recognition reserved for only the world’s top 10 performing athletes.
Her next major milestone includes joining advanced Black Belt training in South Korea for 40 days in FebIndian Athlete Erica De Sequeira Shines at 12th Mombasa ry, followed by participation in the World Cup in the Philippines, where she will represent India as the only young female athlete at the event.
