The XXXVIIth All Goa Open Air Drawing Competition for School Student was organised by Youth Hostels Association of India, Margao Unit in association with Public Works Department, Govt.of Goa on 26th January 2026 in Commemoration with the Republic Day of India at Margao Municipal Garden.
The Theme of the Drawing competition was based on Roads..as such student drew their imagination about the roads and various types of roads as per topics given to them .
About 500 student took active part in the drawing competition held in four categories.
Shri Digamber V. Kamat, Hon.Minister for PWD, Captain of Ports & President of YHAI Margao Unit was Chief Guest for the prize distribution who gave an inspirational talk to the student on the occasion.
Earlier Shri Filomeno Costa, Chairman YHAI Margao Unit welcomed the gathering.
Shri John Miranda read out the report of the Drawing Competition
Chief Guest Shri Digambar V. Kamat gave away the prizes to the winners along withbShri Yogiraj D.Kamat eminent Youth Leader and Social Worker.
Shri Madhu Narvekar, Chief Officer Margao Municipal Council also paid a courtesy Visit to witness the competition in the morning.
YHAI Executive Members present amongst were Shri Ashwath Majalikar, Shaikh Nassir,Santosh Mapsekar, Vikas Raikar, Vishwas Tari, Manoj Bhati, Ms.Tejal Chipkar, Ms. Swara Naik.
Ashita Matondkar, Vihang Nagvencar, Indira Poi Angle were the Judge for the competition.
