MajheApp operated by KTCL to be Launched in June 2026 : Goa’s First Digital KTC Bus Booking App with Live Tracking & Pilot Bike Taxi Service
Panjim,June 9: Goa’s homegrown superapp *MajheApp by GraceFulGoa and operated by KTCL* will officially launch in June 2026 with two key services aimed at transforming mobility in the state. The app introduces Goa’s first fully digital KTC bus ecosystem and Pilot, a local bike taxi service designed to support Goan pilots.
For the first time in Goa, commuters will be able to book KTC bus tickets using QR codes, recharge their KTC Smart Transit Card, check smart card balance in real time, and track buses live, both before buying a ticket to decide whether to wait, and after booking to know exact arrival times. MajheApp has signed a long-term agreement with KTC to bring this complete digital ecosystem to commuters from Pernem to Canacona, eliminating cash transactions and queues.
The Pilot bike taxi service addresses the decline in local pilots who currently wait for hours at bus stands in heat and rain for passengers. From June 2026, every registered pilot will be onboarded onto MajheApp and will receive automatic bookings wherever they are, removing the need to wait at designated stands. Both locals and tourists can book a pilot with a tap, ensuring pilots earn a fair income while serving daily commuters.
MajheApp is positioned as Goa’s first true superapp. From July 2026 onwards, it will roll out over 70 services in phases, including 15-minute food and grocery delivery, 24/7 medicine delivery, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, telemedicine, physiotherapy at home, tutors, yoga, and more. The platform aims to replace the need for multiple apps by bringing all essential services under one app.
Sharing the vision behind the app, *Rebekah Lobo, Co-founder, MajheApp* said, “We are Goans, We have seen our pilots struggle. Now we stand with them. MajheApp is not some outside app. It is born in Goa, built by Goans, for Goans. We ride KTC buses. We see our pilot brothers sweating at bus stands. This app is our answer – to make every Goan’s life simpler, fairer, and faster.”
*Samuel Timothy, Co-founder, MajheApp added*, “Recharging a bus card should not need a depot visit. A pilot should not need to wait for hours. And you should not need 50 apps on your phone. MajheApp puts everything in one place – buses, bike taxis, food delivery, groceries, doctors, everything. The best part of this app is that we don’t use dark stores. Our approach is to onboard local shops so customers can order directly from stores in their own locality through the app. This way, local shops aren’t affected, in fact, they generate more revenue. This is different from private players who rely on centralized dark stores for deliveries. This is One app. All of Goa. Your convenience, our passion.”
The KTC QR ticket booking, smart card recharge, balance check, live bus tracking, and Pilot bike taxi bookings will all go live in the 3rd week of June 2026. MajheApp will be available on both Android and iOS from launch day. Users who download the App before the launch will receive exclusive early-acess benefits.
