Vice-President Urges Industry Leaders

The Vice-President is reaching out to prominent figures in the industry, urging their attention and collaboration. This call for action aims to cultivate an environment of cooperation and collective efforts among industry leaders, emphasizing the significance of their involvement in a shared vision. The Vice-President’s appeal seeks to foster a strong alliance that propels growth, innovation, and sustainable progress.

The Vice-President earnestly requests industry leaders to extend their support to educational institutions, lending a helping hand and generously contributing from their CSR funds towards the cause of girls’ education.

The Vice-President, in his speech at the Centenary Celebrations of Indraprastha College for Women, emphasized the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds being directed towards educational institutions. He also expressed his willingness to collaborate with industry representatives on this matter.

Regarding the students, the Vice-President regarded them as crucial stakeholders in democracy. He encouraged the young women to be ambitious and highlighted the existing environment that enables them to fully utilize their skills and achieve their potential. He emphasized the need for them to think big and shape their thoughts as they desire.

Vice-President explains to Industry Leaders that Education can bring equality

The Vice President highlighted the positive effects of effective governance and women empowerment. He expressed his satisfaction that due to these factors, our girls have become key participants in the marathon for Bharat@2047. He emphasized that you, as leaders, will play a crucial role in making Bharat a developed nation, taking it to the highest position among other nations. Shri Dhankhar also recognized education as the most powerful tool for transformation, capable of bringing equality to society. He emphasized the importance of educating girls, stating that it is a revolutionary act, capable of shaping a new era.

Shri Dhankhar stressed the significance of the “Amrit Kaal” as a time brimming with hope and countless opportunities. He affirmed that India is already a global economic power and a preferred destination for investments and prospects, with unparalleled growth that is capturing the attention of the world.

During his speech, the Vice-President also encouraged students to banish any fear of failure. He underlined that fear of failure hinders growth and innovation, and every setback should be seen as a stepping stone towards success.

Shri Dhankhar pointed out the recent initiatives such as the “Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam,” “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao,” and the distribution of LPG connections. He acknowledged that this century presents a defining moment for India, where the growth of the nation is being defined by empowered girls.

During the event, the Vice-President encouraged the students to possess a sense of national pride, uphold respect towards our country, Bharat, and have faith in the remarkable progress our nation has made. He also emphasized the importance of embracing economic nationalism, implementing the concept of ‘Swadeshi,’ and advocating for local products.

Notable attendees at the event included Prof. Yogesh Singh, the Vice Chancellor of Delhi University, Shri Alok B Shriram, Chairperson of the Governing Body of the College, esteemed faculty members, students, and distinguished guests.
