The inauguration of the Aguad Interactive Museum: Goa – The Land, The Struggle, The People took place in Goa, with the presence of the Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Shri. Rohan Khaunte. Situated within the historic Aguad Port Jail Complex, which dates back to 1612, this museum is a significant achievement in the protection of Goa’s rich historical and cultural heritage.

“Room-1: Goa – The Land invites visitors on a journey to explore famous landmarks. Notable attractions include the unveiling of Aguada Fort Jail using an interactive 3D map, as well as the opportunity to discover lesser-known facts through the “Discover Goa” console. Additionally, the innovative Story Vending Machine offers tangible glimpses into history through short story excerpts.
Room-2: Goa – The Struggle takes visitors on a captivating ride through Goa’s path to liberation. Key features include the gamified Time Machine, which provides insights into important historical dates with a simple pull of a lever. The interactive Freedom Fighters Wall allows visitors to engage with stories of brave freedom fighters, while the “Message In A Bottle” exhibit invites exploration of their thoughts and experiences.
Room-3: Goa – The People immerses visitors in the depths of Goa’s ethnography and anthropology. Fascinating kiosks such as “Once Upon a Time” delve into prehistoric findings, while the “Goenkar” exhibit celebrates the diverse heritage of the Goan people.”
