Amazing Goa Global Business Summit will be held in November: CM
The Goa government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Vibrant Goa Foundation for the organization of the upcoming “Amazing Goa Global Business Summit” scheduled for November this year. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, State Industries Minister Mauvin Godinho, former union Minister Suresh Prabhu, and representatives from various business organizations.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Sawant highlighted that the “Amazing Goa Global Business Summit” will serve as a valuable platform for facilitating joint ventures, partnerships, and international trade opportunities for MSMEs and other businesses.
The chief minister highlighted that the upcoming summit will focus on sustainability and inclusivity by involving self-help groups, startups, and young individuals, in line with the values of Swayampurna Goa. Sawant affirmed his belief that the Amazing Goa Global Business Summit, set for November 2024, will significantly contribute to fostering economic development, creating job opportunities, and bolstering Goa’s status as a premier business hub.
He also expressed his pleasure in the strong backing of all major business associations in Goa, such as the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), Goa State Industries Association (GSIA), Business Network of India (BNI), ASSOCHAM, and others. These associations are working closely with the Foundation to ensure the success of this event. He urged Goan businesses, especially MSMEs, to register promptly and make the most of the valuable opportunities available at the summit.
Sawant emphasized that the Government of Goa is fully dedicated to supporting this initiative, aligning with our efforts towards Swayampurna Goa and our Prime Minister’s vision for a developed India.
