Congress Files Complaint Against PM, CM and Others for Spreading misnformation.

The Congress files complaint with Chief Electoral Officer Ramesh Verma against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, and other individuals for spreading misinformation. The party urged for immediate action to be taken.

Congress President Amit Patkar, accompanied by other party officials, presented a detailed three-page written complaint to the CEO at Altinho, Panaji.

In the complaint, Congress President Amit Patkar emphasized that South Goa Congress Candidate Capt. Viriato Fernandes is a distinguished War Veteran who served during the Kargil War. Patkar also highlighted that Capt. Viriato Fernandes’ speech was twisted and misinterpreted to wrongly suggest that he disrespected the Constitution of India.

The Congress Party has indicated in its complaint that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been involved in spreading misinformation. According to Amit Patkar, PM Modi maliciously misrepresented a speech by Capt. Viriato Fernandes during a speech in Chattisgarh, making it appear as if our candidate intended to disrespect the Constitution of India.

We are calling for action to be taken against PM Narendra Modi, Goa CM Dr. Pramod Sawant, BJP President Sadanand Shet Tanawade, Minister Mauvin Godinho, MLA Sankalp Amonkar, MLA Daji Salkar, and BJP Spokesperson Damodar Naik, as mentioned in Amit Patkar’s complaint.
